Just a quick question, I have a mobile 750 laptop(old!) I reformatted (Win98)recently, it has a PCMCIA modem which queries ok but I only managed to get on the internet once, now I cannot get a dial tone no matter what, I use it on an ISDN line so I was just wondering to I need extra software/drivers installed to make it…

Did you google the driver. Update to the newest available driver and try again.
Check in the control panel that its working ok and that there are no conflicts.

Did you use it on the analog port on the ISDN modem.

If you did not, it will not work at all.

It should be fine on the analog port though.
