What with this being finals week and everything (at least for some of us) I was just wondering where people are going, or went to college. Me, I'm at Portobello College, studying HND Computing. How bout you guys?

Do you have to pay fees at Portobello College?

Carlow IT, BSc computer networking 4th year - did my finals in February, just doing project work until the end of the year now. Its a nice change from the pressure and stress I'm used to having around this time of year.

I think is is one of those "I'm too dumb to get into a real college but Daddy's money will make up for my lack of focus in school and buy me a degree".

True, it is money that gets you in the door, but surely the examinations are all city&guilds/fetac/heatc or whatever it is these says and so the college can't influence your marks.

While I wish you well, failing in 2nd yr wouldn't be the end of the world, one could repeat in the autumn and then reappear for 3rd yr as it nothing had happened.

The problem is failing a final year, that means you miss the main graduation
    thingy where people dress up.
