Quick question on blood sugar levels

    Hi,
    After a particularly heavy session of weights followed by cardio I would normally eat some protein followed by juice of 1 lemon & 1 lime and 1 tbsp of honey,(been doing this for yonks....)

    what is this doing to my sugar levels post work out??

    keeps away joint pain and flu
    havent had a hint a cold in at least 3 yrs
    it was recommeded in some training manual i read way back
