    No, there's no draw-backs to having more than one machine connected to the hub/switch. Obviously, if you're gaming, don't surf on the other machine.

    Done , and done ...connected the modem to the hub , the connected both pc's to same and now both have the inet . I need to a firewall on the second pc yet so didn't go into it too much . From both pc's I can access the other , didn't try running any games between them yet either but i presume it will work , thanks again to all .
