These morons are unbelievable. I can't understand how they think this kind of stuff really goes on. And then all the spas who believe it? It's hard to imagine people like this can actually use a computer.

My work colleague, has a very enterprising sister, who left school at 14, mostly because of her dyslexia, but trained as a Hair Dresser, worked hard, saved even harder, and who now, at 33 yrs old, owns a chain of local Hair Salons throughout Ireland, and is doing great financially.

I know this girl too, and she is an example of how far, simple hard work, and good business decisions, can take ANYONE!! She is also a lovely lady, great to talk to, good fun, married and expecting her 3rd baby. I had lunch with her on Thursday, and we naturally, yapped and yapped away. She also told me about what I am now about to tell you, and, I was left stunned in open-mouthed shock by this.

Read on...(any Irish People here....will be left gob-smacked by this!!)

One Tuesday, into one of her small, very rural Hair Salons, there came one large, African lady, who wanted a full head of BRAIDED EXTENSIONS done.
It was explained nicely, to this African lady, that such a procedure, was hugely COSTLY, plus, it took a full 7-8 hours to do it, and perhaps the lady, would prefer to go elsewhere? She said "No...I want it done...HERE"!! Staff there said, in view of the expense involved..."could the lady please pay up-front"?

African lady...threw...a piece of paper with a phone number written on it, at Staff, and said..."You ring this number...then...you will do my hair"!! Staff did ring the number, and it was...the XXXX Regional Health Board in XXX..and they said..."yeah, go ahead, do her hair, we'll pay for it". Staff explained the cost involved, and the Health Board said...."we'll courier the money over to you in a Taxi,...yeah...go on... do her hair, it's her culture"!! So they did, and the courier duly arrived, with 350 Euros in an envelope, for the Salon. Staff member asked driver, how much it had cost XXX Health Board to courier the money over, and was told 135Euros,..."as usual"!! Apparently, this SAME THING, happens every day!!

Good thinking Chalk. Funny you should mention them all being taxi drivers, in her post she said the money was sent over in a taxi and then explains how the taxi cost €135. Was it a very long journey or was the taxi driver ripping off the tax payer too? No mention of him, he must have been white.

But, if you read further down the thread, most people don't believe it and denounce the original poster. If they were all morons posting on Stormfront then there'd be no real problem, but the majority of the posters seem to be articulate and many show evidence of a college education. All this doesn't stop them from being dirty, antagonistic scum however...

Yeah, read that one before, but it does beggar belief how hair falls under the health board in the first place.

I have heard a story about some persons trying to use food stamps to buy CDs in Tesco and duly being told no dice. Doesn't exactly have the same impact of the health board paying for hair braiding though, does it? Point being, if you can't pay for goods with food stamps in Tesco, the health board isn't likely to do your hair.

Its like that time I told those American tourists that Leprechauns were a delicacy.

Well Karl, a member of my family used to get hard cash for her butter vouchers back in the day. They gave you more than you could ever use anyway, maybe some poor people lived on mainly butter though.

My Aunt used to own a house that had 6 seperate living units in it. My parents were the landlords. One day an inspector called to our house to ask if there was really 28 people living there as there were that many people claiming rent allowance for it and had that house as their registered address for collecting the dole on top of that. To be honest tho, if that story were true, then its a disgrace. Noone, regardless of skin colour, should be given 350 euro by the government for a f*cking hairdo, when people are starving and homeless on the streets. Maybe its in my religion to get massaged by naked burmese handmaidens every thursday, while a svelt asian girl with small yet pert breasts hand feeds me grapes, but the government sure as hell arent gonna pay for that.

There has been a similar scam before where people would withdraw money from UK banks claiming it was from an Irish bank (years ago). Sadly for SF white people also use this scam.

But she said that the money was sent over by courier so it wouldn't really work that well as a scam that way.

As for why visit that site as someone said. It's really funny to read the posts from them. One guy had his mobile number in his sig so you could get in touch to help him pass out pro nazi leaflets. I spent ages putting loads of stuff in the buy and sell for him and then I pm'd him to ask how it went, he was so annoyed.

I think it's hilarious, not only because of what can be read into just about any literiature, but on the flipside, the story that inspires the thread (here) is grade A bullplop! I'm sure it must be a very nasty experience for the young girl, but to be honest, she's playing Harry Potter's love insterest, therefor is bound to get jealous female fans calling her names. How exactly that equates racism is beyond common sense.

The best was when she claimed some African child of 5 took a sh1t in the middle of Clearys iirc and was applauded by her parents. The woman is a loon, id say most of the posters there even think so. Some of her stories are so ludicrous i wonder if she is somebody having a laugh, spinning these yarns and pissing themselves at some readers believing them. Considering in 18 years the only trouble ive had from deh bleedin blacks was gettin into a fight with a chinaman and being told some directions very curtly by an Arab worker in Disneyland (musta picked up the French manners) does anyone honestly think she has had all these experiences? A letter by some woman making similiar lunatic claims to Dark Rosaleen (or Irish Rose as she also used to post under) made its way into the Indo letters page, sh1te about how some sky channel out of Africa broadcasts a programme showing how to scam the Irish welfare system

Its a very very old scam.

Person A would go into UK bank and say "I would like to open an account by moving money from my bank in Ireland. Here is my bank details and bank phone number". Teller rings number on details and gets person B pretending to be working in said bank. They fill out all the details and then open the account.

As paper work during that time could take a week, the person comes back and empties almost all the account a day or so later.

Wouldn't work these days though.

Just had a quick read through a few threads on that site. All i can say is WTF, I thought that kind of out and out racist attitude could only be seen in the movies as a snapshot of 'how it once was'.
