Absolutely. We're not consistent.

A lot depends on which mod it is and particularly which board. E.g. Beruthial is a dragon lady over on PI, but that's because they get a lot of trolls and people taking the piss.

It's a 50-50 decision. Personally, I'm not going to permanently ban a guy for someone else using his account and sending me crap - it doesn't stress me enough. The admins & other mods can always ban him if they're pissed off with something else he's done.

On the other hand, if any of the same guys put a semi-colon out of place from now on I'll be disproportionately harsh on the basis of this incident. Swings and roundabouts.

Don't take boards too seriously. Actually, apply that to life
