Outboard bracket - bolt snapped

I have a 1991 Force 35hp outboard. It's electric start but does not have power trim/tilt. It's on a 14' dory. When I'm travelling I normally put a bar across to stop the motor from dropping. However, that last time I was taking it out of the water the trailer bumped up onto the jetty and the engine bounced on the bracket that keeps the engine up. The bolt that holds this bracket up has snapped off and went into the water, lost. Now I need to find a replacement but don't know where to look. The bolt is about 8mm in diamater. The head was about 17-20 mm hex but only about 2.5 - 3 mm thick (To allow clearance when the motor is lowered.)
Anyone know whst this bracket or bolt is called, or where I might start looking?
