Guys hair (Girls oppinion)

Well, I've decided I wanna change my hair style.. I was planning on growing it kinda long. I want it so when I wear a cap it sticks out below. I think this looks cool.. Just wanna know what people (and women) think looks best. Short hair with gel, medium length with gel or long.. Or any kinda of combo, with or without gel..

Also, try put down Male/Female, just out of curiosity. Just put M or F at the end of the post.

Yeh, I had it like medium with Gel for a while, but I got bored, as you do, and now I'm planning on growing it out. My mate has to grow his hair into a 'fro for a film, so there's two of us gonna be doing it. Lil bit of competition.

The worst absolute worst thing ever that you can possble do, is put too much gel in. It looks greasy, sticky and messy. I'm a big fan of mediem wavy sort of surfer hair but any style with medium lenght hair looks pretty good to me.

I'm growing mine to a medium at the moment, simply cos i've had short hair for bout 15 years, an i'm only 20. I think long hair looks much better too anyway. M

Long hair is too much maintenance!
Getting into the summer months especially. A mate of mine always had long hair but grew sick of waking up in the morning with sweaty hair. He shaves it always now. I usually keep it short but not too tight. But in the hottest months I shave my head too.

But I was actually thinking last week that shaved or short gelled hair is bit bland now. Everyone looks the same. Long hair is more interesting and maybe more attractive. But worth the maintenance?... M

Grow it and get it layerd. That way you may put gel in it and get a shape while having it long.

I personally love a little bit of length in a guys hair.. though it has to be taken care of and not manky greasy or full of gel. though I don't like straight hair long.. it has to be a little wavy or somthing!

short hair is great too.. and suits everyone. just don't go growing a floppy fringe or anything and you should be fine!

As a male, I despise gel and have never used it - keep my hair on the long side of short, enough to be able to run my fingers through it and the wind to blow it about! Long hair is a no-no for many business environments.

personally, i have a weakness for guys with that "messed up" hair style. i just cant resist any guy with that hair style. i really cant. there was a guy in my course in college who had it and i thought he was lovely looking and then he went and cut it all off and now he aint that nice!! (im so shallow!)

That's what my hair's like atm.. well, it's not as 'defined' because I don't tend to pile in the gel.. Mine's kinda like the second pic the most. I think I might aswell grow it a bit cause I can always get a trim, and I'm going through the worst stage right now.. I can feel it flapping a bit in the wind, but it's just the bottom at the back so far.

Aw no way, longer than that, and floppy!! The worst thing though, is when a guy's hair is so nice that you get jealous! I mean seriously, how do you do it? Saw this guy a while ago with long shiny hair, and I'd kill for it! It was beautiful! Hate when guys have long hair and dont brush it though, you just know they'll be bald by their mid 20s.

i love really long hair on guys, not down to your ass mind you but long. Every guy Iv been with in the past year has had about shoulder length, untamed hair, with rugged face. YUM!

It's longer now too, and I've never had problems with sweaty hair in the morning or hot sumers or any such nonsense. It's all excuses!!!

I wish I could grow my hair long so much. I tried it last summer, got to kinda Liam Gallagher stylie lenght but I couldn't control the goddam thing. Anytime my hair would touch water it would take about 3 days for it to go straight. God i envy blokes with straight hair! :mad: I've my hair medium length. More messed up. Even though I want my hair long i know a shorter cut suits me best. Mess it up with wax a bit coz that usually looks good on most blokes.

Yeah my hair is a bit like that. Maybe in another 2/3 weeks my hair will look the same as Mr. Johnny Knoxville (what a ledge!)

Unless we actually know what you look like it's very difficult for us to advise you on what hair length/style might best suit you.

It'd be like me ringing up a shop and saying would the manderin orange dress suit me or should I go for the puke green instead? Without them seeing me they're not going to be able to advise me adequately.

My hair grows into an afro. So I shave it, and keep it like that.
