I want to join a gym but can not afford any of the big ones like WestWood or Crunch so I am going to be joining Newpark Gym because it is not far from me. I am just wondering do most gyms freeze memberships because I am going to California for 4 months in the summer and can not be paying for something I will not be using...? I actually would not even mind paying something small to freeze it just as long as the option is there...crazy I have to think like that but it is Ireland!!!

That would be NO!! Gyms make most of their profit from people buying membership and not going so i would be very surprised. Just ask before you join and as in previous posts you don;t need a gym for a great workout
