Depends on how much of that is excess. The answer is probably.

It's most definitely possible, however it completely depends on the person, a hugely overweight person will lose a lot of weight at the beginning of training, but you're not overweight, so weight loss will probably be slow and gradual for you...

The most important thing for you is diet, you can do all the exercise you want but in the end it all comes down to diet...

You can do it no problem but you have to be disciplined

If i go for a fast 30 minute walk every day, is that enough excercise?

I do not eat crap. I mean i do not eat chocolate or crisps. The worst I do is have maybe a godfathers 12" pizza with ham and pineapple once a week...

You can lose a stone easily but a a stone of what: fat, muscle, water?

Your goal is quite possible but incorporate some weight lifting into your schedule as well. Any muscle you gain will help speed up your metabolism

    Check out www.fitren.com

Tom Venuto knows what he's talking about

But don't be too disoppointed if you don't see the stone being lost on the scales.

Muscle will add to your weight, but you'll look far better.

Hmmm how can I incorporate weight lifting when I do not have a gym or weights?! Damn man I feel broke!!!!

you can do push up, dips, pull ups. When you are good as normal push ups, you can add weights(make your own ones). same with the dips and push ups.

    sit ups and squats aswell.

Get a cheap bike and ride for four hours a day!

Even fit and lean guys, like in Le Tour, are visibly thinner after the Tour de France.

Man I'm not even fat! I just want to achieve a goal or something...do i really need to spend 4 hours a day on a bike?

I was being facetious. But the bottom line is, if you are not very overweight, then to lose a stone will take a lot of hard work.
