I mentioned to some people that I was gonna get some of these shakes tomorrow and most didn't even know about such things. Philistines!

I hate McDonalds. Well, I dislike them, but for one sweet day a year they sell the mortal equivalent to ambrosia. I don't think they should be a year round thing.

I think it would take away from the uniqueness that is the shamrock shake from McDs

I love Shamrock Shakes, but as has been said a big part of their popularity is the novelty of only having them around this time of year.

I don't think anyone would be particularly bothered by them if they were here constantly.

Anyway ... Do Supermacs to a Shamrock Shake alternative?

Creme eggs are advertised and on sale in January at least. There's nothing special about them as a result ... Plus the fact that you might as well inject yourself with icing sugar at least you wouldn't have to taste that gunk!

I think the onew in clonmel sells them all year round. They did about 5 years ago. I got a supersize on in july. I miss that.

My friends and I have a yearly ritual of buying Shamrock Shakes on Paddy's Day.

Oh and the Supermac ones are called "Swamp Shakes".

when I was in Chicago, Illinois, USA a couple of years ago, they had them there. But then again, that's where their corporate offices are. I think they should just be yearly or else everyone will get tired of it and they'll stop selling it altogether. Since that's what they do with anything that we like.

I can't have their shakes, the milk(or whatever you want to call it) doesn't like me much.
