NTL and wireless router ?

Not too sure what would be suitable router to use with cable connection. Does it matter ? A friend has a Belkin ADSL Modem model F5D7632-4 which I may use. Is this suitable ? I pressume all I need is a router and wireless card. Any suggestions would be welcome. Cheers :)
