I'm looking to put on a bit of muscle. I am male, 5'9", 13.5 stone, bit of a belly  , 21 years old. I mainly want to build my upper body without using protein bars/shakes, creatine, or other supplements.
I have a bit of muscle already but I'm looking to build upper body strength ( and bulk up a small bit :) ).
Anybody know the best types of exercises using weights to do this? Mainly working on chest, arms and back, and a bit of ab work to lose the belly :D

Judging my own height/weight against yourself would some weight loss not be better to improve your appearance? Unless you want to increase strength for some specific reason.
Only cardio and a decent diet will shift that gut I'm afraid. No point in working out abs if you cant see it.

You'll probably (if you're like me) want to lose a couple of stone (this can vary a lot with your frame, I'm average).

I was 12st and am now 11st3 with more muscle.

Join a gym close to your college/house (I'm lazy but the gym is in college so it's really easy to go three times a week)
Get in the cardio (IMPORTANT: get glucose in at the same time to prevent muscle loss).
Get 1g per lb of body weight of protein (the serious meatballs on here say 1.5 to 2grams per lb, depends on what your looking for).
