YMCA on Peter Row off Aungier St. Costs a fiver to pay and train and is well equipped.

The YMCA has a sauna, although it is lacking the essential piece of equipment that you call a "jazcuzzi" sadly.

if you want a sweaty room with scantily clad women you should go to a night club, not a gym.

You are probably thinking of the old premises. They moved to a new building a few months ago. If the place you are thinking of had free weights in an enclosure in a hall then that is the old premises.

Yeah remember the old one being muck - what the new one like (machines/selection of free weights etc)?

New one has squat rack bench press rack several benches smith machine 1 rowing machine lots of treadmills and stationary bikes 2 leg press machines bench press machine two swiss balls some stairmatsters I think one cable pulldown machine one cable pullout machine hamstring curl machine various bars for chin ups and dips chest isolation machine a few mats a stand for isolating the biceps and a couple of funny shaped barbells as well as two big barbells. Not sure how heavy the free weights and dumbells go up to. enough for my purposes anyway.
