Gotta represent for Red Dwarf, which changed it's theme almost every series while keeping the overall tune.

    Altogther now...

    "It's cold outside..."

I like the "Murder she wrote" song, also gotta love A-Team, Dallas (was my ringtone for a year!), and the Turtles!

CSI:Crime Scene Investigate (whooo are you? I really want to know who are you?)

    Law and Order is classic.
Newsnight on BBC 2, the best news intro music and graphics.
Channel 4 News, the 2nd best news intro music.

Page two and no mention of the theme to Hill Street Blues  . It's a classic instrumental by Mike Post . Blue Peter would be another favourite of mine , Mike Oldfield did a good version in the eighties.

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A-Team.
