    I started using fitday.com to get an estimation of the calories I consume. I must be under-evaluating how much I'm eating, I'm barely making 2k calories/day.

    anyone know what's the protein/carb/fat/fibre per 100grams of porridge (oats)? Couldn't find it on the net, I tried nutritiondata.com and fitday.com.

    cheers

    is fiber supposed to count towards the total calories? fitday.com calculates the calories like this:

    Cals = fat X 9 + (carb - fiber) X 4 + protein X 4 + alcohol X 7

    the kelloggs all bran original for example has 277kcals/100g, but when entered in fitday.com, the calories are 165/100g (it substracts 27gx4).

    any ideas?

    Figures for Odlums:

    All per 100g

    365 kcal
    Protein 11g
    CHO 66g
    Fat 5g
    Fibre 9.1g

    The calories break down as follows:
    Protein: 12%
    CHO: 72%
    Fat: 12%
