HI there, now that BSG has ended (Schnief) for the moment. I have been thinking about one thing, more intensively that has been breaking my head. You know when Emblem, which always comes up just before the Ads, where it says Battlestart Galactica BSG 75 Does anybody know for a fact, what the 'BSG' bit means? It can't mean…

According to Ray Lai, the concept artist on Battlestar Galactica, who devised the emblem, BSG stands for Battlestar Group and the number is the fleet number 75

it makes sense that the 75 is foreshadowing. 7 + 5 = 12. there were 7 original cylon models and the final 5 revealed at the end of the show. that's what i came up with anyway.
