New form of dizziness from using a threadmill

I was recently on a threadmill for the first time, took about 5 minutes to get the hang of it and was on it for about 20 minutes.

However when I got off it I discovered a new form of dizziness - instead of the room spinning, when I walked forward it felt like floor sliding was with me - a bit like walking on one of those moving ramps they have in shopping centres. When I stood still I had now dizziness what so ever. The sensation lasted for about 10 minutes.

Has anyone else ever experienced this and if so, will it stop happening if I get used to running on a threadmill?

Had a similar feeling after I started to use the treadmill, it wears off as you get more used to it, don't worry.

Me too, you feel like you're moonwalking. It wears off, the more you do it.

I had the same, I guess looking down while running has an effect on it too.
Well, I only tried the treadmill once, decided it wasn't for me and moved upstairs to the free weights :D
