Right woke up this morning feeling fine, birds singing the whole shabang.Had a shave and getting ready to see Man-united Vs Liverpool. Was just going out door when wife says "Oh the toilet is overflowing".

So first thing i did was check the drain outside and yes people it was nearly brimming over with slush toilet roll and other floating stuff. No problem i said ill have it sorted in ten minutes!!So got a bag and got on my stomach scooping out the crap and toilet roll from drain.Talk about dry wreching,so had it all out of drain and was nice and clean but too my horror after i asked wife to flush toilet there was another blockage in soil pipe and it was a biggy.

Took me five hours of constant pushing and tugging and finally the power of suckage of me pumping a rod down the soil pipe with a big rag attached to it firmly it eventually pushed out what i can only describe as a christmas log(crap and toilet roll) three inches in width.I was caked in it by the way.YUK!!!

So anyone else have one of those days?please share as i feel all alone. sorry if it disgusts some people

Next time just fake a back injury and tell your wife you've done enough work for this week and it's all about equality these days.... OR if you want to stay married you could have let your fingers do the walking and called in the drain people.

Thats a great talent they have alright!

Another bit of advice is change your brand of loo roll. Bet that herself insists on the comfort brands. Study in UK a few weeks ago showed that Britain's drains are getting clogged with all the luxury brands. They recommend the cheaper, thinner, red arsed brands to keep the drains clear and stop the blockages!!!
