Ok have been a really lazy person of recent, mainly because of a very bad ankle injury.. Anyways, used to play a bit of the rugger in 6th year, now in 1st college, and im feeling kinda **** and lacking energy etc.

Just wondering would getting fit improve this?

Just been browsing this board also, theres a load of stuff i have no idea about. Like whats "Cardio" and all these different areas of fitness.

Anyways what I'd like to start doing mainly just to make myself feel better (kinda depressed or something lately) is to get active and fit again, in the hope that it will make me feel better.

    Question is, how?

Ill start eating proper foods, as long as I have a good list of them and that I dont starve. I'm not a fat person, but I eat loads just normaly.

Illl also start doing certain excersices as long as I know exactly what I have to do..

So basically I have the motivation, just completly clueless as to what to actually do or where to start.

I've never done any weights before either, rugby for me was just like 4 laps and just normal training. So again, I dont know what to do.

Again, this is so as that I can hopefully get into a better frame of mind in life etc, and its not a whole New years thing, as I read that post earlier.

    Many Thanks,
    -Coz.

Cardio is cardiovascular excercise, like running, rowing, swimming or anything that is based on your heart and lungs as opposed to muscles being large.

Eat some fruit and do some running, check out coolrunning.com for some advice on starting it and working up to say a mini marathon. Eat some fruit. Stop drinking latte's and eating crepes.l Run run run that's what I say, especially when it's ****ty windy wet weather like today, makes a man of you on a run.
