The 12 days of fitness

    OK I need some help...

I gave up the smokes two years ago, since then I've put on about 20lbs. I currently weigh approx 200lbs & would like to lose about 30 which would put me midway through my "ideal" weight.

I have a 43" stomach & 46" chest with the dreaded (hereditary) man-boobies (I'm really painting an attractive picture for the lay-deez here, aren't I ?). I have a very large chest cavity (hereditary) - 44" So basically I'm barrel shaped. I'm nearly 6' tall though & wear loose clothing so I can carry it, the point is I don't want to... (oh to be able to wear those tailored shirts)

My lifestyle is sedentary, I worked with computers up to last month when I was made redundant - if anyone has any jobs going please let me know ;)

From tomorrow I'm going to be doing Total Fitness's 12 day trial, I'm hoping to get at least two-three hours in per day for the twelve days & maybe drop some weight for Christmas.

I do have a sweet tooth, but want to make a concentrated effort, so the Cola & chocolate will take a back seat, I will be allowing myself one treat a day though (yet to be decided).

Any advice or words of encouragement are welcome. Thanks.

headed up this morning about 9.00 & stayed for two and a half hours, trying various machines & then using the pool steam room & sauna.

It's a great place. I feel really energised now, but will probably drop like a stone later on...

Roll on tomorrow (probably won't be able to move).

€20 for 12 days trial - use everything.

Up again today, God I'm unfit... Once those endorphins kick in though...
