If you register an account with www.vcbet.ie your first bet is free on terms that the odds are over evens, they'll refund up to a max of €40 so therefore if u win or lose your first bet no matter what you'll get your money back so u can withdraw it (takes 24 hours after ur initial bet to go back into ur account)

This offer is class as i put the full €40 on damo duff scoring first the other night against fullham he was 8/1, i netted a nice €320  and withdrew the money straight away, paid off some of the bills on the credit card before xmas!! ;)

if ur gonna do this good luck :D

wysel... you're the man!! Great find!
(Now all I gotta do is find a sure thing!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

Cheers for that Wysel. People shouldn't just take advantage of this offer though. If you're into betting you might aswell stick with VC if you take the free bet otherwise these offers wouldn't be possible.

jeez dont know about leeds , if i was a betting man(which i clearly am) i wouldnt do leeds-too inconsistent!! moscow flyer is a good bet at 2-1 or samuel etoo to score first for barca there playing malaga and he's about 3-1 hes in good form at the moment, and i will take any penny i can off a bookmakers have u ever seen a poor bookmaker??? they always win!!!

I would get myself a night out from betting every week and I haven't put any funds in my account in 3 or 4 weeks. I put €20 in it a few weeks ago and I just keep raising it on football bets. I'd spend a good few hours on a Thursday and Friday checking team form, etc. (especially lower divisions). I'm cleaning PP out. ;) In fairness though, If you are going to continue betting after this free bet you're better off continuing with VC after this generous offer. They're only new to the Irish market and the more competition over here the better in my case anyway.

    I put the €40 on:
    Barca
    Stuttgart
    Chelsea
    Brugge

    returns around €110.

BTW, have a look at these sites otherwise you're throwing away your money:

www.bettingadvice.com - the predictions tabs have stakes from 1/10 to 10/10 on a lot of worldwide matches. The forum is great and has its own thread for every CL and UEFA cup match.

    www.punterslounge.com - Great forum.

    http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/formGuide.jsp? - British form guides

    http://www.soccerway.com/ - worldwide football tables

    http://www.bet-league.com/home.htm - tips

    http://www.profitbets.com/ - tips

Even if you picked a tipster with a high yield on one of those sites and followed his tips every week you'll make a decent profit (I'd get too impatient waiting every week).

I'll stick this VC offer in the soccer forum.

U might as well chance a large bet since its free. Moscow Flyer, Clelsea - Newcastle (over 2.5 Goal), Valencia, Leverkusen, Clyde- Falkirk (Draw). returns approx 3560yoyo. No that would be really nice. I know Wyse, and he didnt do Duff at 8/1, he thought about doin it. Open Vcbet accounts with everybodies card. Ur Mom, Dad, Girlfriend, etc. There is nothing to lose!!

    I have opened an a/c.
    I have lodged €40.
Do I just bet, or do I have to receive a promotional code first?

    Just bet.

Well the most I can remember ever betting out of my own pocket would be just 20 or 30 euro. If I build up a decent amount I'd bet high enough on singles. For example, I put €70 on Auxerre to beat the worst team to ever make the UEFA cup second round IMO. They were 1/7 and won 5-1, I only won €10 but there was literally a 1% chance of them not winning.

Did someone lodge money by Laser Card? I want to lodge the money that way, but the system always asks me for a CSC (Card Security Code), but my Laser Card doesnt have one.

What do I have to enter there ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,503 ✭✭✭Makaveli

Great find, and you can deposit with a Laser card, nice one.

Yeah you can withdraw it straight away. You can't bet on e/w as its basically 2 bets (a win and a place), you have to put it all on one bet.

    I can't believe it! I actually won!
Great tip about this site wysel!

I don't bet but this is a no-brainer - I lodged 40 notes thru CC, clicked on racing picked the earliest race 13:25 Chepstow and like stickin a pen in the paper picked Carlys Quest 40 quid win @ 8/1...

...it won! 320 + 40 back...I can go to work tonight with a smile.
    Cheers for that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,503 ✭✭✭Makaveli

    Nice one delah.

Considering it's a free bet, I went with a treble.
Valencia to beat Alabcete (away) 11/10
Barca to beat Malaga 3-0 7/1
Betis to beat Sociedad (away) 2/1

    Return - €2016.
Not that likely, but who cares, it's free.

40euro on It's Official to win the 2oclock at Gowran Park, 8-1...

    What a way to lose 40euro :)

I better get my 40quid back when I lose!

    ah typical i lost :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,492 ✭✭✭Sir Oxman

Best of luck with that one Makaveli, just stuck 10 quid of my winnings on Contraband @ Sandown 14:05 - it won . I got it at 4/1 thats another 40+10 back..

    I'm getting hooked :-)

PS I withdrew 340 straight after my first win and it seemed to go alright - takes 24hrs to come through. Also it says that transaction will incur a fee, fyi.

Chelsea won 4-0 and Stuttgart are 2-0 up. Brugge are probably the biggest banker of the weekend (I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me) and Barca should beat anyone so Malaga shouldn't be too tough. I prefer the safer root and it will get me a night out tonight if it comes in. :)

So is it free to registered like do you need to give credit card details when you register or anything like that?

You have to deposit €40 in your account.

    I don't believe it.
    1 minute to go and Eto'o scores Barcelona's 4th.
Happy and sad and the same time, it's a real conflict of emotions.

Yeah, I actually got my winnings + my €40 back that I put on + the €40 cash back so I got a total of €150.

Does it actually cost €30 to withdraw funds into my bank account? What if I wanted to withdraw €20?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,666 ✭✭✭Imposter

I won as well. Had 40€ on Liverpool to draw and they duly obliged. Got 88€ for my 40 plus another 40 in my account (must be your bet amount matched whether you win or lose!) so 168 there now. Thanks wysel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Selik

I had my €40 on Liverpool to draw as well you Imposter big up to the person who brought this win-win deal to our attention! :D

I still dont understand the catch. Say you have nothing in your mastercard account ,you "buy" something for 40 from them and do they refund it to your mastercard again? is your card not simply at a balance of 0 again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

Not sure of the logistics but a lot of companies (poker, betting etc) are not allowed to refund Mastercard and I believe it's happening to Visa as well.
Something to do with the US and gambling laws over there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

I'm sure VC are charging the 30 Euro for a Bank payment as they will get charged by their Bank and they are trying to put people off getting Bank transfers. Why not get a cheque instead, assuming there is no charge for this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,807 ✭✭✭chump

"All non-UK customers are entitled to one free payment by this method per quarter. A charge will be made for any further payments required above this level. UK customers will incur the charge shown below for all requests by this method and it is suggested that they use the BACS withdrawal facility described above, which is totally free of charge."

So all non-Uk customes can use a Telegraphic Transfer to get their funds for free (albeit, only once per quater)?

does anyone know what the SWIFT code is for aib? do all branches have the same code or are they different?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 65 ✭✭mccarrd2

I withdrew the 40yoyo on to my Bank account incurring no fee. AIB swift is AIBKIE2D, i think. That would only be for their head office.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

    Do you mean SORT codes?
If so all Banks have different ones.
It's like your PSN number, each one is unique.
It means that you can ask a Bank in London to transfer the funds to your account (through HQ) and the sort code just tells them the Branch where you hold your account.

ok so could someone please tel me exactly how to withdraw my money back onto my aib account??

mccarrd2 how did you do it?? can you use that swift code for any aib branch or do you have to use the branch code for the branch that your in???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

I e-mailed them and they told me that the first time you withdraw funds it has to be deposited onto the card.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,326 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

i just won 176e last night coz i bet on celtic to draw with milan and really wanna withdraw my funds. I have a mastercard so I thought u cant withdraw funds onto a mastercard. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Oh by the way great find with that site

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,326 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

ok I e-mailed them about how to withdraw funds and this is the response I just got so lads with mastercards this is how you withdraw. Good luck with it

    Dear Sir,

    Thank you for your e-mail.

Please be advised that we can only send funds back to a UK issued MasterCard. Therefore if you card is not a UK issued card you would then have to request an International Telegraphic Transfer which would be free of charge as there is no-other means of sending you your balance.

In order to request this you first have to add you Bank details and then to "My Account", "Withdraw Funds" and "Telegraphic Transfer".

If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

    Kind Regards

ah there is no sure things in the world in betting but I would recommend these two.

Juventus to beat macabi te aviv

For there to be less than 2.5 goals in te liverpool - olympiakos game.

    Good luck
