My friend had thing 'thing' he got in america
the thing is like an elastic rope with handles on the end

which he uses for lots of different things -

e.g. he would stand on the rope and move the handles up and down (like a bicep workout) etc

does anyone know what I'm talking about?
if so where are they advailable?

    Hi hussey,

They're called resistence bands and I happen to stock them in Arnotts. We have them in a range of intensities (cost €13.00) and I also have some books which detail the techniques, exercises and stretches for them. Drop in to me in Star Fitness (beside the runners) and I'll sort you out ;-)

or I remember one was a heavy rope doubled as a resistance band, endorsed by some basketball player? Possibly Kareem Abdul Jabbar??

    Hi OFDM,

Yes. I have a smiliar product made by Marcy. It's called the SC8 Spotter Catcher. Heavy Guage steel construction, Multiple height adjustments, No skid rubber floor pads, Wide contured crutch grips, etc etc.

I also have free standing squat racks if that's any good.

    Hey logic1,

Yeah. I can order in any olympic plates and can get you your d/bellls and collars as well.

    Hope this helps.
