Does deleting the thread starter then delete the entire thread?

if a new user is sitebanned, their content is usually deleted; and with that any threads they have created.

there's someone out there who is a reasonably frequent rereg, who starts threads seemingly concerned about road safety, and ends up banned.

In fairness all posts on that subject are meant to only posted in the master thread to stop the trolls derailing every other thread with the same garbage. It's was well dismissed in thread anyway.

Why not ask your questions in the master thread. Though tbh the research, studies and data is ropey anyway. Don't expect too much from it.

A post on thread saying it was locked going to be deleted would be nice. Save people scratching their heads.

There were links posted from the BMJ (?) and other sources discussing the relative lack of effectiveness of hi-viz clothing on accident stats.

To expand slightly on what CramCycle just said, when a re-reg troll or spambot is sitebanned, there's a single tick box to 'delete all content'. That's it, there's no picking or choosing, the Vanilla backend just grinds away nuking the lot.
