Old alarm in attic

Have an old house alarm in the attic, works fine but as old as the house 2005.

Thinking about an attic conversion and it'd need to move to the party wall, currently on one of the beams.

Is it a big/easy job to move a few feet over?

Could just cut cables and add new lengths along with supply maybe?

You would be looking at extending all the cables.

Down power so you dont blow any fuses.

Always mark so you know which is which going back into the control panel zones, keypad, bells.
