Tamper alerts after changing sensor batteries

HKC Quantum wireless system with 15 RF sensors (2 PIRs, the rest are magnet/inertia on doors and windows).

The sensor on the patio door (which also has a couple of additional sensors wired into it from the adjacent windows) was giving intermittent tamper alerts, mostly in the middle of the night. I opened it up but couldn't see any issues. I realised the batteries in all the sensors were 7 years old, so thought a good first step would be to put in new batteries.

Having done this I now have 4 different sensors giving intermittent tamper alerts! I've re-opened and closed the affected sensor covers, including hitting the tamper buttons a few times to make sure they're not jammed. I do have the engineer code and manual, but there doesn't appear to be an option to disable Tamper in the Panel settings , presumably because it's an old version of the system (about 13 years installed). Any ideas?
