Hi all, I am wanting to understand what I need to do to get my ethernet ports up and running. My router is in my hallway (picture 1) and there is single ports in the living room and one bedroom upstairs. In the utility room is a 3 port and a single port above it. (Picture 2). I have tried plugging in a laptop via ethernet to these ports and none work other than directly tapping into the router. I have read other posts about switchers in the attic. There is not cables there other than TV. I also took out the cover to check there is actually cables wired in these ports and there is. I am guessing the key will be the ports in the utility room but I would have thought one of them should have signal from the hallway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep that's the NTU, just be careful with the fibre. That would make sense to be the ethernet cable, yeah. It's hard to tell for sure when it's covered in the way that it is. Maybe take off the "EIR FIBRE" port and see does it look like the same cable.

But if it is yeah, RJ45 port and as you said connect the ONT to that. In the utility connect your router to the "EIR FIBRE" RJ45 port. Connect three ethernet cables from your router to the three RJ45 ports on the wall.
