Multi purpose trailer

Hi all, I looked at 19 foot multi purpose tandem axle trailer with hay racks today. It's a heavy duty well made and finished trailer, couldn't fault it. I was quoted 30k incl vat for it. Just wondering would that be going rate for those kind of trailers and are they worth the money. It's main job will be bales of silage and a few loads of clay , gravel or fertilizer. Thanks

Not sure what the new prices are, but this trailer is from an auction a couple of weeks ago. 14 foot tipper, but with the bale extension that clips on the back, it's probably 18'. It looks clean enough. In my opinion you need to be doing an awful lot of work to justify buying new. However that price it went for is more than those types of trailers were going for a few years ago.
