    Last before the international break.

    7:45pm Glasgow v Bulls Prem 1 URC.TV

    Saturday

    12:45pm Lions v Ulster Prem 2 URC.TV

    3pm Sharks v Scarlets TG4 Prem 2 URC.TV

    5:30pm Leinster v Zebre Prem 1

    Treviso v Stormers URC.TV

    Dragons v Ospreys Prem 2

    7:45pm Munster v Connacht TG4 Prem 1 URC.TV

    Cardiff v Edinburgh S4C Prem 2 URC.TV.

    Some points to note:

    • Although not listed on the URC website, TG4 is using one of its non-Irish picks to show Sharks v Scarlets this weekend, in addition to the Saturday prime time interpro
    • The exclusive Premier game is Leinster v Zebre
    • For scheduling reasons (three into two won’t go) Treviso’s game will again be exclusive to URC.TV. There is no repeat in the Premier schedule as far as I can see.

awww, I was enjoying the multiple Friday night games we've had so far. Should be a corker of one tonight though.

Glasgow V Bulls 7:45 tonight should be entertaining for a neutral spectator.

First half has been disappointing, 7-5 to Glasgow, no score in the 30 minutes before half time.
Hastings and Le Roux standing out to me so far.
interesting to see Fagerson wearing the number 7 jersey.

Tuipolotu getting plenty of ball but going sideways and getting stopped on the gain line quite a bit.

Bulls kicked a penalty just on half-time short from 35 metres, not sure if there’s a stiff breeze or what.

Second half not much better. Bulls eventually got a pretty soft try under the posts. 7-12 now.

Pretty clear penalty try from the maul for Glasgow and a Bulls prop to the bin. Hopefully might help them in the scrum where they are being destoryed.

I always find it amusing when a team being annihilated in the scrum makes hay in the maul. Huge one there to get Glasgow into the 22 (must have gone 25m).

They look fairly inept now though 🤨

the disallowed Bulls try was a sublime piece of rugby from LeRoux

not bad for an old man.

A good 30 seconds kept running on the gameclock while ref said time off there when they had to replace the YC prop at the scrum. Wonder if the gameclock in the stadium did the same…

ideally Bulls prevent Glasgow getting the 4th try.

If the score stays as is would be ideal.

And so it does. a 4-0 game point result.

I don't understand why Ulster are supposed to do there. Player is on the ground with the ball but wasn't held in the tackle. They'll get in trouble if they "tackle" him while he is on the ground as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,863 ✭✭✭RichieRich_89

Wait for him to get up and then tackle him, same as if a player goes to ground to collect the ball.

Or try to pull the ball away from him.

Great, Deegan is now out as well. Soroka comes in so it's not so bad, but absolutely no idea who is replacing him on the bench. Someone from the crowd possibly.

Well…that is quite the start to ease nerves.

Shoulder charge on Kenny? Didn't look like there was any wrap there.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 31,447 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

I had to step out, have they said who came onto the bench yet?

Nice seeing Hugo McLoughlin and Kenny link up for that try. Both showed a lot of pace to chase that kick though. We really missed that bit speed last weekend against Munster.

Hugh Cooney looked very fast a few phases later when carrying as well. Had the defence retreating.

Should have started this team against Munster.

That was a classy little kick forward from Soroka.

Lovely pass out the back from Harry and a bit of magic from Soroka.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 31,447 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

That is a nice try from Zebre. Unsurprisingly for the unit playing the maul was absolutely splintered. Just no coordination from the Leinster side.

Lovely finish after a great maul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,560 ✭✭✭A-Train

That’s way way way too easy for Zebre. This is going to be a long helter skelter match.
