Hi I’m selling my home and have a building surveyor coming to my house to survey it. I have noticed that my extractor fan in my bathroom does not have a separate isolator switch outside of the bathroom. Is this legal or a recommendation? Would a building surveyor pick this up as an issue? Thank you

What would the correct zone be? The extractor fan is not directly over a shower/bath it is in the centre of the bathroom. Should this be Thank you.

The surveyor won't notice or care. They don't inspect the electrical installation. They will just put a standard discalimer in their report about it and mention that the electrical installation needs to be inspected by a qualified electrician if deemed necessary.
