Accessing Recordings on zGemma H7 box from KODI 21.2

With very little knowledge about this topic, I am trying to access recordings on my zGemma box(running OpenVix 6.2) across my home network, from my Android box running KODI 21.2 with the Enigma2 PVR add-on. From the KODI box, I can stream the zGemma channels, see the timers and EPG, but I CANNOT see the Recording files. I'd suspect it's a settings or configuration issue because I have my zGemma recordings in the /media/hdd/RecordedTVPrograms folder - not in the /media/hdd/movie folder. I'm not sure how they got there, or if it makes much difference, and if it does, how do I point the KODI box to the /media/hdd/RecordedTVPrograms folder to pick them up? I hope that question makes sense.

    Thanks!

The enigma 2 plugin for kodi is basic enough and not that smart.

I suggest the best way out of your current situation is to copy all your recordings back where they should be.

    Root > media > hdd>movie.

Thats where the enigma 2 plugin expects them to be and I dont think you can change it.

There are more knowledgeable people than me on here , so I may be wrong , but my suggestion will work.

If you have both Samba and NFS enabled on the box under network settings , and you have a password set for " root " then you can do it in Windows , its simple drag and drop and creating folders is easy.

    See picture attached.

Once recordings are where they should be , they are all accessable in the enigma2 plugin.

And dont forget to set the box to record back to the movies folder , and not where they are recording now.

EDIT: Did you by any chance install a plugin for collectiong shows into folders ?

If so , that is what has caused your problem.

Remove the plugin , you dont need it , that plugin and its functionality has been built into vix , go into recordings , hit the setup menu , and set " automatic collections " to on , its off by default.

Thanks andy1249 - I'm not beside my rig right now, but I know I have the "Movie Organizer" plugin loaded. I'll remove that first, and see if KODI sees the recordings - or should I just remove that plugin, AND, move the movies over to the root/media/hdd/movie folder?

Remove the plugin and see if it puts things back where they were , if so , your all good to go , if not , move them. After removing the plugin , go into recordings , hit setup , and turn on automatic collections , that will do everything the plugin did except move recordings.

I moved the recordings over to the root/media/hdd/movie, deleted the "Movie Organiser" plugin, and also set automatic collections to "on"; I can see everything (Channels, Timer Rules, Timers, etc) on the zGemma box from KODI, but I cannot see the list or Recordings. I even tried the same setup from a different KODI box, to the same zGemma box, but the same result! Are there some other tricks I can try to see the recordings?
