Extending a chimney/flue

My mother had a kerosene boiler (a Turco Countryman) installed over a decade ago. It's situated outside between a door and window, and when it's running it fogs up the window and is a general nuisance to walk past on a windy day.

The man who services the boiler annually suggested contacting Turco to see if they offer chimney/flue extension kits. I emailed them and they never replied. The website hasn't been updated since 2021, plus all the boilers/manuals have been removed from it, so I'm not sure if the company is still active.

A local plumbing supplies more or less told me Turco weren't great and he wouldn't have parts for it.

Are there universal parts I could get to extend past the gutters (bungalow), or does it need to be Turco specific?

Oh jeez, it's only a foot away from a window? Does that window open at the top or side?

    The window doesn't open.

What you are looking for is a plume dispersal kit - I don’t think Turco have one, but it would be worth calling them.

The firebird one might fit, although mixing and matching flues isn’t generally considered good practice.

I've a manual for that even though I've never come across one.

I'm working on uploading and pm'ing the link to you. Give me about 30 or 40 minutes.

You'll need to have your service person check if a suitable plume kit is available. They'll also have to change the combustion settings because the plume kit will change the air flow.
