Good to see people with this interest. Very few young people hunting now and it's never been more important, not just from a game conservation pov, but vermin and deer numbers are getting completely out of hand. The country really needs to wage war against them, but without soilders it's a war that won't be won.

I’d say a lot of people are turned off by being asked for money from landowners , when your already a fair few grand invested with setup and stuff and then getting asked big bucks to land permission it puts a lot of people off , now at the same time i understand the land owners trying to make a bit of cash in hand off it , but it also put’s a lot of people off also as cost a lot with setup without paying for permission for multiple lands.

had a few and a few lads i know where asked, from my understand it started in some area where deer stalkers start offering the landowners money to get the permission over other deer’s stalkers and that started a bit of a cycle , good to see there is good farmers like yourself still around 👍
