I've just joined this site (I'm using a desktop computer) but I find that the "New Discussion" button that used to be pressed to start a thread isn't available on forums (e.g. Current Affairs) on this site. Why is that?

    1. Users get read-only access to Current Affairs immediately after registering on Boards. Users can read any thread and thank posts.

    2. Users will get posting privileges (both commenting on existing threads and creating new threads) once BOTH of the following conditions are met:

    a. The user has at least 50 posts

    b. The user has been a member of Boards for at least 7 days

You know why you can't post in Current Affairs. If you are banned you cannot open up a new account to get around the ban.

This account will now be sitebanned.
