Import Car from Netherlands vs the UK

    I am currently importing a car from UK.

    But today a car i was interested has come up for sale in the netherlands , it was previously imported from the USA but never been registered in the netherlands

    Its has just sat at the docks there

    If i was to buy it which option is the best or is their any difference

    register it in the netherlands then take it back here and reregister it in southern ireland.

    Just get it shipped straight here from the netherlands and i presume it would be considered to be a usa import as its stilll on usa title afaik

    Is it difficult to get insurance on left hand drive cars here is their a big premium to pay

    All suggestions are helpful

    You shouldn't need to register it in Netherlands as u are exporting it
