Rearranging channel numbers

I have a 32" Hitachi TV (32HE2200U A) and had all my channels, Freeview & Saorview, lined up in my preferred order. But a couple of nights ago I lost them all and had to do a re-tune. The problem now is that I dont appear to have any way of editing the channel numbers as per the manual. That function seems to have disappeared so Im stuck with finding the channels by scrolling through the EPG.

Would anyone have any knowledge of that particular model and an alternative way of re-arranging these channels?

Manual says in the Channels menu you can edit them

A search on the net says Hitachi are made by Vestel, I used the Vestel, TV SMART CENTRE, app to rearrange the channels on Walker and Toshiba tv's in the past. I don't know if it is still working, it's still available from the App store, so I presume its still works. TIP, use the app to move channels initially, in my experience if you move one of the sd channels first you can then renumber or move the channels using the remote, rather than the app, a bit faster. Hope it works.

Thanks for that. When I bought the telly 2 years ago I followed the instructions and got all the channels in my preferred order but things went wonky a couple of days ago and the method contained in the manual no longer works.

Im not into the technical stuff but when I tried the app it wouldnt work. I had forgotten that the TV had also lost the wireless connection to the internet which happened about 18 months ago so unfortunately the app wouldnt work.
