WIFI modem/router recommendation

Hi

Looking for some assistance in recommendations on a modem to replace the one provided by broadband providers. I have a number of devices in the house that would need to be changed to connect to a new modem every time i change provider. Long term thats a pain in the backside.

So appreciate it if somebody can recommend a good Wifi 7 modem that is compatible with copper (and fibre for future proofing). Hoping not to spend more than EUR200 if possible.

You can change the SSID (WiFi name) in the new router settings to match your previous providers router, if you don’t want to buy your own.

Not all WiFi 7 routers have the 6GHz band.

You might be better off to buy a “mesh system”, something like these -

Thanks. I'd tried renaming the SSID before when moving from Virgin to Eir but it didn't work! Maybe I did it wrong 🤔

Not looking for a mesh system. Single modem works well throughout the house so mesh is probably overkill.

Most houses would need more than just one access point, but if your okay now than yeah.
