we have an old Stanley range that was not very loved , it is attached to back boiler and works fine . I would not dream at the moment of opening one of the doors but have cleaned it to as much as I can . I would love to restore this and keep when we are re doing kitchen as we are renovating this old house and trying to update . Any advise on doing this or anyone with experience . The top is also slightly tilted back towards left corner rust along edges of doors poor filling or sealing job done on top around where pipe goes up it’s all hard lumps and all top discolored in places no amount of cleaning is moving it . would love to hear from someone that started with something similar and what they done with it

If you're in Galway/Connacht, you should get in touch with Gordon's of Kilkerrin. They're experts on it.

There's nothing to restore on that by the look of it. Its an oil dripper stove so not much to go wrong either. The same parts are using in a lot of Stanley stoves so I suspect you can find any parts needed as they are often the same in more modern stoves.

Wake me up when it's all over.
