Internal insulation/dry lining - shared walls?

Hi all - in the midst now of pricing costs for insulating a mid-terrace. I'll be looking to dry line the exterior-facing walls (solid construction). I know I don't need to mess with the interior partition walls unless I would like to, but what is normally done with shared walls in terrace structures? I've spoken informally with a few people and have gotten mixed messages. I'd just like to have a better idea from the outset of costs, which means knowing how much area I actually have to deal with. Thanks a bunch for any insight.

Normally insulate external walls ie. Front & back in a mid terrace. Party/shared walls (walls between yours & neighbor either side) insulated if sound / uninhabited next door is a concern & then internally in partitions / floors in between studs or joists using rockwool or similar quilted insulation to reduce but not eliminate sound/heat transfer between rooms / floors.

Good question - I’ve always been a bit unclear on what people usually do with shared party walls in terraces too. Did anyone tell you if insulating them actually makes much difference, or if it’s mainly the exterior walls worth focusing on?
