I have just done an order for Minoxidil from Biovea. I was spending about 200 euro a year on Rogaine foam (I do prefer the foam consistency), but got a years supply of the liquid from Biovea for under 65 euro! I used a referral link for 10 euro off (can send mine on to other people if you are interested), then ordered the below.

At the checkout the also offered me a further 15 percent off code. So 2x 43.80 = 87.60

87.60 - 15% (13.14) = 74.46

74.46 - 10 (referral code) = 64.46

I also plan on ordering the Biovea foam when it comes in to use in the morning, so this could potentially last me for 2 years (foam morning, liquid night).

Be very careful with this. It's the stuff, it's cheap, but you can only buy the stuff that the Irish Medicines Board, now HPRA approve. Imagine cutting the profits of pharmacists or local importer. I ordered from them twice and it got through. The third time it was taken by Customs and I never got it. Apparently Biovea don't really engage with the IMB or HPRA, I was told on the phone. It looks a good deal, but you mightn't get it.

I wonder is there a way to get delivered to the north and collect there. Mightn’t suit everyone, but a trip up once a year wouldn’t be a bad thing, even with some going up annually over the next few months

It's one of three medically approved treatments for hair loss. Finasteride, minoxidil, and dutasteride.

Dutasteride is a treatment for an enlarged prostate. I had no idea it was approved in this country to treat hair loss.

Has anyone here tried Rosemary Oil , as a more 'natural' way to restore hair / prevent hair loss?

Both finasteride and dutasteride are for enlarged prostates, but they also both have the benefit of also inhibiting system DHT which is what causes male pattern baldness. Actually, I mistakenly said medically approved. I meant medically proven. I don't think dutasteride is approved for MPB in Ireland yet.

Said I'd update. They were delivered yesterday. Not quite the 2 day shipping promised (just under a week), but all there. Boxes a bit battered, but everything inside is okay. They do deliver with DHL, and it isn't my first time receiving a DHL package in similar condition.

All in all, happy with the price and delivery… now just to pray it gives me Prince Charming fro Shrek hair!
