saw them at the RDS in 97 , bucketing rain down down but enjoyed the gig so much , Teenage Fanclub and Massive Attack supported , brilliant gig.

Also saw them previous year at Castlegar , big day out festival , again great show , Thom did some solo acoustic stuff as well . Was a decent lineup on that bill too Ron Sexsmith , The Cardigans , Bluetones (ah remember them well) and Neneh Cherry and Divine Comedy

That RDS gig was their best outdoor here, just after OKC came out. The longest day and the wettest gig. I rewatched it on YouTube recently and it's still awesome.

Saw them at the Big Day out and in the Olympia in 96 too, plus the 2 nights in the Olympia in 2003. The 2 Point gigs that year were great too. The 3 nights in Punchestown were pretty cool but I didn't appreciate the Kid A stuff at the time, it was only after 9/11 in the Odyssey in Belfast when KidAmnesiac clicked for me. I haven't gone to see them since the Marlay Park gig as I hated In Rainbows and everything after it.

I was there at the RDS that rainy day, it was so good it blew my mind.

Am coming from a similar place

But Galway 96 was my highlight - that FM bootleg is fantastic, RDS in second , Punchestown great too and I think the only time I saw them since was Marlay.

If they did a Bends tour I would pay serious amount for that... but don't think that's their kind of thing (to tour an old album like that)

I remember buying a giant, rolled flyposter after Punchestown, which - given that the vendor was just standing outside the tent, selling them - I assumed was unofficial, but it's such a good quality poster, I'm still not sure to this day. It's the faux Victorian one, "Notice to the public! Under a big top! A genuine freakshow!"

"Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it.  After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.  It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates.  For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead."  - Philip x

The absolute memories of that. I was 16 years old, in transition year, got the bus down from Bray with a load of mates. We were all massive Radiohead fans and had been listening to Kid A non stop trying to figure out what it was all about.

Interesting someone mentioned 9/11 and to put it in perspective with that. Less than a year before that happened, hard to believe! Seemed like a different time in comparison.

Yeah…I'm really going to have to get tickets for that London show!

Are people registering under multiple email addresses? I have a personal and work email but not sure if I'll be disqualified for trying with both!

My older brother came back from a summer internship in the US with a large booklet full of various CD's. I wasn't into any bands but he'd picked up Pablo Honey and The Bends. I started a summer job in 2000 doing security at night and had a CD player. I listened to some CD's to wile away those hours and liked Pablo Honey. The Bends was a challenge but I quickly came to love it after a few listens. I became a fan and picked up OK Computer a few weeks later. Another challenging one but I got it by the end of tha summer. Brilliantly they had a new album coming out and I was expecting another OK Computer but again Kid A was a challenge. I was in third year and some of the lads were organising a bus from Cork for the Saturday at Punchestown. It was a fantastic gig, my first one so didn't have any frame of reference but the enduring regard for those gigs meant I wasn't experiencing any personal bias. In short, in relatively quick succession, I got to enjoy each album as they were chronologically released and then got to see them live to cap off a fantastic summer. Applied for tickets so will make it over in the off chance I get some.

So long as you have separate phone numbers I’d register twice

Lots of references to the Punchestown gigs, RDS, Castlegar and so on. I was at the Galway one and The Punchestown one, and they were great. But I was really disappointed in the last 3Arena one they did. Was very lifeless. Maybe it was the setlist. I don't know. But there was no excitement to it.
