I had the Hive system installed 4 years ago when I had a new condenser oil boiler with 2 zones upstairs and downstairs.

Sometimes it loses connection between thermostats and receivers. Hive support offer instructions how to rectify this but it's a real pain going from one bit to the next to try to get it up and running again.

This happened in May this year and it's still offline. After messaging hive support since May I was told that my issue had been escalated on order to resolve it

That was in July and it's now nearly September!

Anyone else have bad experiences with Hive and can anyone recommend a better heating control system?
