Nor really clear what you are looking for advice on. Like is it outings to nice fishing villages and cathedrals of interest - or info on golf courses & sporting stuff, or the basic stag stuff like pubs and clubs.

I suspect it's the last one. A while since I've been there so I don't have much to contribute. But basically you are in prime location close to everything so you can't really go wrong. Boring advice would be to pace yourselves, be sensible etc. As a group of 17 you'll probably split up naturally but try not to let anyone get left behind alone. Aged 30-40 is close to perfect despite the naysayers!

was there nearly exact same time last year. Wasn't hopping but wasnt quiet either, nor was it full of older people.

Weather was pretty decent too. Can't say too much about a stag there, thought the place was a bit of a kip tbh and didnt do the Veronicas/Strip scene at all,

Thanks, I'd say it's more pubs/clubs etc, although a few of us will play Golf on the Saturday

There's a few really nice restaurants near "fountain de las Americas", beside a place called Harry's Bar. Pretty much everywhere else was fine to walk in but all of the restaurants near here were reservation only. We were lucky to get last minute bookings (as there was about 14 of us) for some but didn't get to try them all. The italian is called Bianco, I think, and was the nicest restaurant we visited while there. Book before you get there, is the advice I'd give, though I'd imagine November would be fine. The Hard Rock Cafe was pretty good also, and that's pretty much across the road.

For pubs, I'd imagine you'll spend a good bit of time in the Gaelic corner. Big, loud, Irish, and packed. There's another one near the restaurants called the Hole in the Wall but we never went in. Paddy O'Reilly's is another decent spot for live music, if that's your thing. Most of the 'action' is near the Gaelic corner, but there's no shortage of decent boozers. From there if you head north up towards the McDonalds, you'll be well looked after.

The Greenhouse is a decent Amsterdam style 'coffee shop' if any of the group are smokers. You need to email them beforehand as I don't think they accept people just rocking up to the door. Be wary of the African lads selling weed and hash outside any of the smoke shops as there were loads of stories of folks getting ripped off or robbed near them. Steer clear of them at night, especially when locked, as they usually target drunk people on their own. Get sorted early in the day and you won't have to go near them at night.

We rented jetskis in nearby Los Cristianos and it was deadly. One of the lads booked it, so not sure of the name. They pick you up at your hotel and drop you off after. It was about €60 for 90 mins or so. You might be banjoed after the golf though, so play it by ear.
