I’m reading NEUROMANCER but it has been a couple of weeks since I last picked it up and a character is mentioned that I have no recollection of. No spoilers please for what comes after this point.
Chapter 13 - Case has been arrested by Turing Agents and is thinking about where Molly is.
“ In the elevator to the meadow, he thought of Molly. She might already be in Straylight. Hunting Riviera. Hunted, probably, by Hideo, who was almost certainly the ninja clone of the Finn's story, the one who'd come to retrieve the talking head. ”
I don’t remember any previous mention of a character called Hideo. Is it someone who Armitage mentions as working for Tessier-Ashpool ? Or does Case find the name while hacking?
