    Hi

Can anyone tell me when moving from JSA to IB, will the payment be based on the new reckon able income calculation providing this applies in the relevant tax year?

Or is it a straight swap and remain on the same full JSA rate?

    TIA!

you are currently in receipt of JSA, and you are now sick and are applying for Illness Benefit

For illness benefit you need to have at least 104 PRSI contributions and 39 credits contributions (13 being contributions) in 2023.
you’ll only get 244 illness benefit if your weekly wage across the whole of 2023 was in excess of €300
    .
