overcharged on m7

I was driving from limerick to dublin last night in my car.

I was charged 4.10 at the toll near mountrath instead of 2.30 (for cars)

Has anybody ever had this issue before.

i checked online and 4.10 was for buses.

Ive had it when paying cash at the tollbooth in Limerick ennis road had to buzz them at the actual booth the scanner picked you up wrong!

It has sometimes happened to me in a people carrier with a roof box.

The sensor must think it's bigger than what they have defined as a car.

I usually push the comm button and the operator reduces it to 2.30 there and then.

Could the scanner have read your plate incorrectly and detected the wrong vehicle type as a result?

You don't drive a commercial do you? What method of payment did you use?

i rang the m7 contact number just now.They acknowledged the mistake and could see i was overcharged on the sytem last night.They said sometimes this happens.I don't drive a commercial.
