Sure I'll post my first attempt up.

I remember this being much harder when I first played it . Didn't get too far but lost lives everywhere.

I'll await trout to just pull some crazy score out of his hole now and ruin it .

I got on the high score board at least

Yeah the difficulty ramps up.

I think ya get the flamethrower in level 3 , im not sure from my hazy memory from MD version.Anyway im enjoying it. Decent , tough but in no way cheap . Tempted to fire it up now but I'll have my cocoa and go to bed

Always loved the first game in the arcade and C64. The NES port is great as well. Ive never played this one but really enjoying it.

Another few goes at lunch .

Cant get past level 3. Got an extra life on it, don't know if it was for score or I picked it up.

The arcade version doesn't seem to have all the secrets in random doors that the MD version had

This is such a great game! I've actually never played it before. Have seen the title around in games lists and always thought it was a shmup.

Had a few blasts but can't quite get by level 2. Seems a bit fiddly when it comes to leaving yourself vulnerable when jumping or turning around.

I love the mechanics ..really fair .

Not a run and gun.every bullet counts and is timed , ya can't just jump around spraying bullets like rambo -well ya can't even jump and shoot. And the enemies can't either . You are on the same level as them really .it's refreshing

Id only played the mega drive version before and supposedly Namco really pulled out all the stops with it.A perfect conversion but with extra weapons,levels and more

The pace reminds me a lot of Elevator Action Returns.

Will see if I can get a bit more time with it over the weekend. Was averaging about 40-50k so some catching up to do!

Gave this another good belt last night and tonight and can't for the life of me near my last score or reach level 4. Making stupid mistakes constantly , it's really vexing me

Rolling Thunder 2 arcade is stone cold classic, and an all time favourite of mine.

It's been a few years since since I've given this game a good rattle. I'll give it a bash over my lunch break tomorrow but, as I'm very out of practice, you're advised to manage your expectations of my performance. 😎🕹️

It has been donkeys years since I've fired Rolling Thunder 2 up and I'm only warming up, right?!..

39480 for myself. Never really played RT2 before now, and had only really ever played the first game (briefly at a mates house) on the C64 years ago as a kid
