Faulty brake light query

I have noticed the following happening recently on my '05 Honda CRV, which has a dual tail light / brake light (twin filament bulb)

Driving lights on - 3x rear tail lights ok.

Press brake pedal with lights on - only 2x brake lights come on - the 'dodgy' one does not illuminate at all.

No driving lights on - all 3 rear brake lights work ok.

I have replaced the bulb but the same issue happens.

Any ideas as to the possible cause?

    Thanks.

Cheers DN - would that be visually obvious to an eegit like me - a broken wire or similar perhaps?

I'll have a look later and see if anything jumps out.

Clean all contacts and check the position of the electrical contacts in the lamp holders and also clean the male and female contacts from the wiring loom. If it's not that then have a look for the nearest "earth" point along the loom and see if it's corroded or loose.
