Using degiro

I have had a degiro acc for some years .I use it to buy and sell shares. I have shares in dollars and euro

In the morning when only the Euro shares are being dealt in ,I get figures showing rose and fall of dollar shares ,though one cannot deal in them till afternoon. Why is this info shown and what does it refer to.

E.g. this morning my euro shares were up around 200 euro, but degiro said I was up 350 ,this included the dollar mystery(to me) amounts

    Regards

Another question, can I sell dollar shares and keep the money in dollars, still in degiro

You're probably witnessing pre market trading. Any decent app will show you pre market as a smaller number under the previous days close.

I doubt it, you would then be in a strange forex trading realm which I don't believe degiro handle.

I'm in the same position with Degiro, however I only use it now for ISE and Euro trades.

It is very expensive for Sterling or US Dollar trades. I'm thinking that in future, depending on the size of the trade, that using Revolut might be a better option for Sterling or USD trades as I already have sterling and USD accounts with them.

Usually it's to do with changes in the FX rate. Occasionally Degiro have errors on their closing prices.

Degiro do not show pre market trading so it's not that.

Yes, once you turn on manual FX for USD. It's in settings > currency conversion.
