Bump here as it's been 7 days since it was posted.

Don't forget to fulfil the 3 terms in OP in 7 days if you used referral link:

    - sign up with link

    - order card for €5.99 (you'll still be up €4)

    - make at least 3 transactions of €5.

    1000034882.png

@positron - based on above, you should be good for €50 in 40 days time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,455 ✭✭✭positron

Thank you @Basq , I've done all of the same and @Doge should be in line for the reward as well. I think we need to make another transaction between 5th or 6th week to get it, but that's given as I am paying with the watch often enough.

Not sure what these figures mean in curve though. Must equate to 10 and 50 euro, I am guessing.

It's 1 point is a cent or penny, and you can transfer it out to your bank or swipe your app to the "curve money" section and it'll use it like it's your bank card on your curve account.

  • Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 7,539 Mod ✭✭✭✭pleasant Co.

Yes that’s correct, if you look at your cards and scroll to the left you’ll see “curve cash”, this is where your curve points accumulate, often times if you get a partial refund that they can’t tie back to the original purchase it’ll end up being refunded in curve cash. It can be kind of annoying to use in practice as curve will charge your curve cash by default even if you have a different card selected as your default, provided there’s enough of a balance. I generally pull any curve cash I can out of there and onto Revolut.

I found this setting in app, wonder if turning it off stops Curve using your Curve cash as default?

Will see once I build up more Curve points!

My physical card arrived today, looks great

    1000001627.jpg

Handy to have another physical card for emergencies.

    Really loving the zepp pay

Very very handy, especially if i have a voucher on phone which I often do

I can just use phone to scan that and not have to switch between apps at the till

Throwing up my referral link again for anyone signing up!

oh that's great, just checked mine and it was already deseleted, though it did auto use in mid June so maybe it's a new setting?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,506 ✭✭✭lucalux

Possibly alright, will report back when the 10euro referral points land as it would trigger autopay at that point, only have about 1.30 worth right now!

I've signed up using this referral, can you let me know if it worked?

    My own

Hey! 👋 I've found a game-changer: Curve Pay. It's the only mobile wallet that actually saves you money. I use it to dodge foreign transaction fees, stack cashback, and even change which card I paid with after purchase (they call it ‘Go Back in Time'). Trust me, it's worth trying. The referrals don't work unless all the conditions listed in the OP are met. Which in most cases they aren't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,527 ✭✭✭Doge

Just a reminder that the 40 days should almost be up now.

Mine still says pending and is just showing points.

Anyone get their curve cash yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 281 ✭✭Lester_Burnham

Did you fulfil the three conditions? You said you used my referral code. Nada on my end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,527 ✭✭✭Doge

That's strange, might be worth contacting support. You can send them this screenshot of my purchase history:

    Edit: sending Pm

best pm him, might need to provide date/time of sign up, or just the email address you signed up with along with the screenshot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 281 ✭✭Lester_Burnham

Thanks @Doge for the PMs. I got on to Curve support and it's now showing as pending on my account.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,077 ✭✭✭✭Basq

I just see the €10 pending on my side for using @positron referral, but not the €50 despite @swampy353 indicated he's fulfilled what's in the OP. I believe he signed up to the Curve Pro trial instead of ordering a card though.

Delighted with the watch and the ease of using curve pay so far, but...

Ran into a strange one last night, used a prepay fuel pump, put 20 euro in on the prepay thingy, used the physical Curve card

The merchant put a 'hold of €100 euro on my card and the 80 remainder is still not back on my revolut account

Googling it i found that this is common practice in some places but I've never had a preauth that takes that amount of money and holds it "possibly until the 7th September" according to Revolut and Curve, and the merchant

Im raging! Never happened before using this prepay pump with either PTSB or Revolut but the petrol station just renovated so I don't know if it's a new thing they've done either

Curve cash is now in my account. Exactly 40 days after @Doge made the transaction that triggered it. My understanding is that the card uses Curve cash by default until it's gone?

I received £8 odd in my curve cash today from a referral and ordered something on Amazon that was just over £9 and it did not use the curve cash.

You must have the required amount in curve cash for it to take from it.
